They were put to compare the data on the development of micro-organisms , the conservation of folic acid, vitamins , carotene and other antioxidants taking as sample containers for the tomato sauce. Based on the results, it was found that the glass is basically the only one that retains all the positive characteristics of tomato sauce, while maintaining the highest level of security with regard to the presence of microorganisms.
Regarding the can, instead, there is a greater quantity of tin, iron and volatile compounds, while the classic container retains very few vitamins.
