September 11, 2001, American Jack Ryan decides to interrupt his studies at the London School of Economics to enlist in the Marines. Two years later, the young patriot back seriously injured from a mission in Afghanistan. Without revolutionizing the genre, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is conducted effectively by Kenneth Branagh whose realization is not in my face, but tent, like the main character, being down to earth and realistic. The action scenes are thrilling, but they are "of this world" and have a good balance with these nice moments when the characters are revealed. Finally, a feature film that "does the job." And could well be the beginning of a second franchise for Chris Pine.

The Wolf of Wall Street also gives Leonardo DiCaprio an opportunity to offer the best performance of his career.
