Fitbit gently prepares the arrival of the beautiful days and the time of the fitness. The company announces today the Alta HR, which takes again the minimalist design of the first Alta of the name, the cardiac sensor in addition.

The Fitbit range is now enriched with the Alta HR. As the name suggests, this is a new version of the Alta released last year that adds a cardiac sensor. What to get, according to Fitbit, the smallest bracelet connected with such a sensor. It must be said indeed that the Alta shone by its compactness reduced to the strict minimum, the version in HR takes again strictly the same dimensions.

It is the only real visible novelty of this 2017 vintage, but it also gains in autonomy, it is now announced of 7 days. It's two days longer than Charge 2, though bigger. The object obviously keeps its screen to display the essential information of its sporting session and time. The Alta automatically detects the sporting activity. On the other hand, like the previous model, this one is not water resistant, so you will not be able to carry it in the shower.

Thanks to the Alta, as well as the other products of the brand with a cardiac sensor (except HR load), the user will be able to know the time spent per night in the different phases of sleep (deep, paradoxical, light and short phases Of awakening), in addition of course of the duration of the sleep. The sleep section finally wins a "board" part, which will inform the user about its quality of sleep according to the activities practiced during the day.

These new features will come in April for tracking sleep phases, and later in spring for tips. The Alta HR will also be available in April , the basic models available in four colors. Two special editions including a gold-colored box.
